Our Products

Textile ribbons are the end product of two different manufacturing techniques. The first results in a cut edge ribbon and the second in a woven edge ribbon. Curry Ribbons specialises in ribbons of both types. Also, we have a Printing Service to supply custom printed ribbons.

• Cut Edge Ribbon is made by using hot blades or ultrasonic waves to slit fabric to a predetermined width, sealing the edges in the process. It is most commonly used for gift wrapping, display and promotional purposes. Curry Ribbons has an extensive array of machinery used to produce this type of ribbon as well as in-house facilities to print personalised text and logos to the customer's design. • Woven Edge Ribbon is made by weaving yarn on a loom to a desired width. The ribbon is then dyed if colour is required. This is the staple ribbon of the clothing manufacture and haberdashery industries where washability is a key issue. It is generally the more expensive of the two ribbon types and almost all such ribbon in Australia is imported. • Printed Ribbon is made with our custom designed machinery. Curry Ribbons prints with metallic and coloured foils on our "Five Star" polyster satin ribbon in a wide range of widths and colours. Our machinery allows for quick turnarounds on both large and small print runs. Printed ribbon looks great and has many uses in packaging and promotion of corporate image.
